Directions

First Aid
There is a full-time first aid person on site the dates of camp.
It is this person’s responsibility to administer first
aid, contact parents and coordinate with the doctor when needed.
In addition the first aid person passes
medications out to the campers as ordered by the parents.
Emergencies
Campers will receive instructions on how to respond to an emergency
the first day of camp. In the case of
an emergency, Timberlake has direct communication with local authorities.
Staff receives training prior to the
camp season. In case of inclement weather, shelters have been designated.
You are welcome to call anytime;
please understand that during an emergency, one phone line is dedicated
to communication, which leaves one
line to receive calls.
Mail
Mail is handed out at the first meal after it is delivered to camp.
Be sure to put the camper’s name on the mail, preferably on
the first line of the address.
Daily Schedule
The daily schedule is designed to maximize the camp experience.
We balance group activity with individual activity and high-energy
periods with quiet times. The cabin leader will make sure the campers
are involved in the daily schedule. If your camper has special needs,
let us know prior to their camp.
Visitors
Parents are always welcome to visit their child anytime during
their stay at camp. Be sure to stop by the office
and check-in. No other personal visitors will be permitted without
permission of the parents.
Lost and Found
Our policy is to keep lost and found articles for one week. Unclaimed
items are given to charity. Please call and
let us know if you are looking for a lost item as soon as possible.
We suggest that you leave the most
expensive shoes and clothes at home. Identification on bags, cameras,
etc. is helpful.
