Horsemanship Camp at Timberlake

Ages 10-16

Our horsemanship programs are the perfect place to explore and develop your skills.  We offer a quality horsemanship experience;professional trainers make sure each horse is ready for the rider.  Our staff make sure every rider increases their horsemanship skills.

the indoor arena allows the program to continue no matter what the weather.  Participants are matched to a horse according to their skill level.  They assist in the daily care of their horse for the week.  Grooming, feeding, tacking and riding the same horse, each day, is part of the routine.  Horsemanship camp is one of our most popular camps, so register early.

*Enrollment is limited to 30 campers each week.

You need to have some horse riding experience before you sign up the these workshops.  The amount ofexperience is not the critical issue here.  However, you should be able to tack your horse.

Extra time will be allowed for personal practice under the supervision of our staff.  Staff will coach you during your personal riding times.  Your choice: ride Western or English.

The rest of your time will be spent doing regular horsemanship camp activities.  You will participate in the evening rallies and eat meals with the other campers.

14 years and up

The Junior Wrangler Leader program is for senior high students who are serious about sharing their faith through the medium of horses.

You will stay and work with one of our cabin leader staff.  To apply for the program, contact the camp or fill out an application form.

Cost is $40 per week.
