NEW IN 2013!! Our JCL program has been totally revamped. In Servant And Leadership Training (SALT), you stay for 2 weeks. Your first week, you are a Junior Servant Leader (JSL), a camper in a cabin with other JSLs learning firsthand how to serve, as well as going through selected portions of Timberlake’s staff training materials. The second week, if you pass an interview, you’re a Junior Cabin Leader (JCL), similar to what it has been like in the past, only you are with your campers 24 hours a day. It’s real on-the-job training and you’ll be able to invest completely in your campers and learn from your Cabin Leader. The cost of the camp is for the first week (JSL camp), and every week you come back after that is completely free. It’s new, and it’s gonna be a blast! If you do it this year, you’ll be able to say that you were among the first SALTers to ever go through the program!
